200,000 yaba tablets discovered in Chiang Rai forest

Police have seized 200,000 yaba tablets after villagers reported finding them in a forest in Chiang Rai.

The drugs, packed in straw sacks, were spotted by locals in Kalae Village, Moo 7 Mae Pao, Phaya Meng District yesterday, Dec. 23 at around 6:30 pm.

Upon discovery, the drugs were found to be packed in blocks with a red marking that included the numbers 999.

Police believe the yaba may have been left there for later collection by a drug mule.
