21-year-old man found dead in sedan parked in Mae Jo

The body of a 21-year-old man was found in the back of a sedan parked in Mae Jo yesterday afternoon, April 25.

The body was in the car parked near Bangkok Bank, Mae Jo Branch on Chiang Mai – Phrao Road (Highway 1001) at 5:30 p.m.

The deceased, Mr. Wattanapol Phoompho Noi, is believed to have been dead in the car for between 8-12 hours before being found.

There we no signs of the cause of death but police believe that he may have gone to sleep in the car then died due to a lack of ventilation and excessive heat.

The body was taken to Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital for an autopsy.
