British man hospitalized after being attacked by Thai wife in Lampang

A British man has been admitted to Lampang District Hospital after suffering a major wound following a dispute with his Thai wife.

The 36-year-old man, unnamed by local media, was found yesterday morning at a house in Bor Haew sub-district lying in bed with a severe cut on his let arm that had severed an artery.

According to the wife, aged 35, the man had come home very drunk causing an argument to occur. The wife alleges that the man tried to hit her so to protect helf she picked up a razor and slashed his arm instead.
