Flooding in the Ping River has covered a bridge and restricted access for villagers in Ban Phaedom, Omkoi district.
The flooding, in the lower reaches of the Ping within Chiang Mai Province, saw the river rise to a level of 2.8 meters. Power poles near the river were also taken out, causing electricity cuts to homes in the area.
Other villages in the area, including Ban Siber and Ban Porpo have also been cut off due to the flood waters.
The authorities are said to be inspecting the damage, including to agricultural land and will provide assistance and surveillance for potential emergencies.
