A 16-year-old student, still in school uniform, has died after he slammed into a concrete barrier at speed in Suthep yesterday evening, July 10.
The student, who Chiang Mai One will not name despite his name being circulated by Thai social media, was said to be riding a “big bike” at speed on Canal Road when he lost control at around 6.45 p.m.
The deceased was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
His body was taken to Nakornping Hospital for an autopsy before being released to relatives for funeral rights.
