2.8 earthquake rattles Fang District

Another day of seismic activity in the north with an earthquake hitting Fang this morning, April 23.

The 2.8 on the Richter scale quake struck at 4:40 a.m. at 19.794 N 99.268 E – Tambon Mae Kha near Highway 109.

Notably, the Earthquake Surveillance Division of the Thailand Meteorological Department noted that the quake was felt near its epicenter.

The quakes follows two recorded in north Lampang April 19.
