22 marijuana plants have been seized after they were found growing behind a house in Phrae Aug. 23.
The raid, which included representatives of a full Thai alphabet of police divisions, soldiers and local officials found the plants growing in Moo 6 Pa Daeng, Mueang Phrae.
The owner of the premises was not home at the time of the raid but is known to police who have issued a summons for his arrest on illegal cultivation of Category 5 drugs. Apparently the unnamed man had been arrested twice before for similar offenses.
The cast of many posed of pictures with the plants (see pictures) where were said to weigh a total of 12.5 kilograms.
