A 28-year-old man has died after crashing his motorcycle in Mae Rim last night, Feb. 10.
The accident occurred on Chiang Mai – Pai Road (Highway 1096) in Ban Nam Tom, Moo 1 Muang Kaew at around 10:30 p.m.
The deceased, Mr. Wasu Withsri from Rim Nuea, Mae Rim died on impact.
There no witnesses to the accident, however, Mr. Withsri was seen riding at high speed before the crash. Speed, along with the road being “somewhat dark” are being attributed as the cause of the accident.
The body was taken to Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital for an autopsy prior to being released to relatives for funeral rites.
