A 37-year-old Korean man was found dead this morning, May 6 in a condo in the center of Chiang Mai.
The deceased man, named as Mr. Jeon Heeseok had lived in Chiang Mai for around one year with his wife with the wife finding his body this morning at around 5:30 a.m.
There was no sign of physical assault and Mr. Heesok had no known medical conditions although he had been taking sleeping pills to assist him sleeping. Strangely, he is also said to have been bitten by a snake in August and had spent time in hospital due to the snake bite.
His body was taken to Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital for an autopsy to ascertain his cause of death. The South Korean embassy has also been informed of the death.
