A 60-year-old man has been arrested after he was found to be having sex with underage boys in Haiya yesterday, March 11.
The arrest took place following a tip-off on Wua Lai Road Soi 1 at around 1 p.m.
On arrival at the residence police found two boys aged 13 and 14 along with the accused, Mr. Surasak Khiew Mang.
Mr. Mang allegedly “tricked” the boys at the Thapae Gate to come to his home, promising them gifts in return for sexual favors Thairath reports.
He’s been charged with human trafficking by the exploitation of prostitution. Police suspect that the two boys might not be the only abused and are investigating whether Mr. Mang may have been running an underage sex ring.
Mr. Mang has a record when it comes to pedophilia having been arrested and jailed in 2009 for human trafficking in similar circumstances.
