Arrests drop to 28 in Chiang Mai on day seven of the coronavirus curfew

28 people were arrested last night April 9-10 across Chiang Mai Province for breaching the coronavirus curfew on day seven.

While numbers were not available by district, three men were arrested in San Kamphaeng, two of whom were drunk.

Mueang Chiang Mai Police arrested at least two people including the two women pictured above.

For the first week of the coronavirus curfew, 272 people have been arrested across Chiang Mai for being outside at 10 p.m.

Those arrested are being fined 3,000 baht and sent to prison for 15 days. Upon release, curfew violators are in home detention for seven days and are given a one year probation period.
