A 2.9-magnitude earthquake was experienced in the San Sai district of Chiang Mai last night.
The earthquake measuring 2.9 on the Richter Scale with a depth of 2km, occurred at 22:50 hours on 9th June 2020.
The epicenter was in the Mae Faek sub-district, 19°01’12.0″N 99°01’33.6″E.
Locals reported the floors and ceilings in their homes shaking. This follows the earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter Scale which was felt in the San Sai district back in January 2019.
