An 18-year-old girl from Chiang Mai has been found dead in a Hat Yai hotel room in mysterious circumstances.
The body of Ms. Tanya Yee was found at the hotel yesterday, Nov. 25 by hotel staff who had let themselves into the room after having had no response from her.
According to reports there was some indication of bruising around her neck and an unspecified bottle of tablets next to the bed.
Police are awaiting for an autopsy to ascertain the cause of death but rather bizarrely said that they believe that she may have died due to an unspecified illness.
