Chiang Mai International Airport has extended its screening measures for COVID-19 by now screening all people entering the passenger terminal.
Scanning will take place at doors 3,5,6,9 and 10 with anyone found to have a temperature higher than 37.5 celsius being investigated as a potential coronavirus carrier.
Previously only departures and arrivals were being screened.
Airports of Thailand noted that there may be delays due to screening and thanked passengers, service users and people working at the airport for their understanding and cooperation.
