The body of a woman has been discovered by cyclists in a khlong (canal) this morning, Nov. 28 in San Pa Tong.
The body of Ms. Kwanjira Taatak, 19 was discovered face down in the khlong located near San Pa Tong – Hang Road in Moo 10 Thung Satok at around 7:30 a.m.
Police believe that Ms. Taatak was flung into the khlong after crashing her motorcycle and then subsequently, due to injuries, drowned in the water.
As is standard, the body was taken to hospital for an autopsy before being handed to relatives for funeral rites.
