Drunk man drowns in San Phi Suea

The body of a man was pulled from the Ping River in San Phi Suea yesterday, July 16.

The man, identified as Mr. Kirangkali Mali, 38, had disappeared from his house the evening before.

It’s believed that Mr. Kirangkali drowned after deciding to go for a swim in the Ping River. His mother told police that he often did go for a swim in the river while drunk.

The body was taken to Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital for an autopsy.
