A drunk man went on a rampage in the emergency room at San Sai Hospital early this morning, Jan. 7 after being forced to wait to see a doctor.
The man, Mr. Chakkaphan, 24 from Wiang Tai in Pai District, Mae Hong Son had visited the hospital with a relative who required medical attention. How long he had waited before going mental is not clear but after having waited for some time he then went on his rampage.
Damage primarily consisted of smashed glasses doors with an estimated value of 15,000 baht.
Mae Jo Police attended the hospital where they arrested Mr. Chakkaphan and detained him in custody. He was subsequently charged with serious damage of property and damage to government property.
