A woman believed to be heavily intoxicated has died after riding her motorcycle into the path of a pickup truck in San Sai Monday night, July 8.
The accident happened on Chiang Mai-Doi Saket Road (Highway 118) near the PT fuel station in San Na Meng at around 9:20 p.m.
The unnamed woman believed to be between 40-45had been spotted by locals drunk and nearly falling over near Ban Kurosawa earlier in the evening while attempting to transport eggs.
Heading the wrong direction down the side of the major highway, it’s believed she’s then either fallen or drunkingly driven into the path of a pickup truck. Attempts were made to revive the woman at the scene with no success.
The body was transported to Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital for an autopsy.
