Three earthquakes have been recorded in the north since yesterday with one occurring in Chiang Rai and the other two in Mae Hong Son.
The first earthquake – a 2.1 on the Richter scale was recorded at 4:47 a.m. yesterday, Aug. 12 at 19.739 N 99.611 E – Tambon Mae Suai in Mae Suai District, Chiang Rai just off Chiang Mai-Chiang Rai Road (Highway 118).
The second earthquake, also a 2.1 was recorded at 5 p.m. yesterday, Aug. 12 at 19.361 N 98.222 E – Thung Yao in Pai District, Mae Hong Son.
The third earthquake – a 2.2 was recorded at 6:04 a.m. this morning, Aug. 13 at 19.259 N 98.020 E – Pang Mu, Mueang Mae Hong Son.
