An extraordinarily unlucky elderly man has been injured after a bullet fell through the roof of his house and hit him on the head in San Sai yesterday, Nov. 22.
The accident occurred at around 6:05 p.m. with the man, who was already sick bed, being struck by the bullet.
According to reports, along with setting off fireworks for the annual Loy Krathong and Yi Peng celebrations, some villagers are known to also fire guns in celebration.
The man was transported to Nakhon Ping Hospital.
Police are investigating the matter as firing guns into the air is illegal under Thai law.
