An elderly woman has died after being attacked by cows in Nan July 28.
The body of the woman was found on a remote farm in Ban Huay Don, Moo 3 Huai Kon, Chaloem Phra Kiat District by relatives with police arriving at the scene at 4 p.m. Sunday.
The body of Mrs. Thep Hom Dok, 67 was found surrounded by hoof prints consistent with cows along with marks on her body and an injury consistent with being stabbed with a sharp object.
It’s believed that Mrs. Dok was likely charged and impaled by a bull then trampled to death by other malicious cows in the vicinity.
The body was not taken for an autopsy given a postmortem examination confirmed the diagnosis of death by cow and instead was handed over directly to relatives for funeral rites.
