Three homes were destroyed after a fire broke out in a home in a Karen village in Doi Tao last night, March 19.
The fire broke out in Ban Ko Luang Soi 8 in Moo 1 Pung Thung at around 9:00 p.m.
Six fire engines from the surrounding area were deployed to fight the fire but unfortunately were unable to save three houses but did manage to stop it spreading to others.
The fire is believed to have broken out in the kitchen of a home belonging to Mr. Kham Chandee, 58. The houses in the village are described as all being wood adding to the intensity of the fire and its ability to spread.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
