Five people have been injured after a collision between a pickup truck and a two other vehicles in San Kamphaeng early this morning, May 29.
The accident happened at around 12:50 a.m. at the Sanklan Intersection – the intersection of the Outer Ring Road (Highway 121) and new Sam Kamphaeng Road (Highway 1317) in Tambon Sanklan.
According to reports, a pickup truck ran through a red light at the intersection and in doing so was hit by another pickup truck traveling across the intersection with the green light. A third pickup truck traveling through the intersection was as hit and damaged.
Emergency services workers were quick to the scene where they discovered three people trapped in vehicles with a total of five people being injured, one seriously.
Pictures from the scene (see below) show absolute chaos with crushed vehicles. Given the damage the accident presumably occurred at high speed.
The injured people were taken to hospital with police said to be investigating.
