Around a dozen homes are building were damaged after a storm ripped through parts of Chiang Saen, Chiang Rai yesterday, July 21.
The storm damaged homes were primarily in Baan Sop Kok, Moo 7 Ban Saew and some neighboring areas.
According to Thai language reports, the damage was caused by high winds with most of the damage seeing houses and other buildings losing parts of the roofs.
The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, Chiang Rai was on the scene to assist locals.
The storm damage comes at a time where the north continues to suffer from drought conditions, adding insult to injury for locals who are desperate for rain be it without the storm damage included.
