Korean woman stabbed to death in Chiang Mai Moo Baan

A Korean woman has been found murdered and another person injured at a house in a Moo Baan residential area near the Chiang Mai Outer Ring Road.

Details are sketchy with police being called to the scene at 2.49 a.m. this morning (June 21) where they found the woman dead with a knife wound to her chest.

The injured person found at the scene, possibly the murderer given that it appears there may have been a domestic dispute, was taken Nakornping Hospital for treatment.

Police are currently investigating the matter.

Update: the injured person has been identified as Mrs. Park Songhee, 27, who claims to have stabbed her mother, Mrs. An Jung Ja, 76 in self-defense.
