A man traveling on a bus has been arrested in Chai Prakan after he was found to be hiding heroin in a bag of Lays chips.
The discovery was made on a bus traveling between Fang and Chiang Mai at a checkpoint on Moo 14 Si Dong Yen, Chai Prakan yesterday, Nov. 15.
As police were checking those traveling on the bus they noticed Mr. Ajay Sae-ya, 18, acting strangely.
After initially undertaking a body search and checking his bags, officers decided to check his chip packet where they discovered 4.3 grams of powdered heroin. A subsequent piss test of the suspect also tested positive to morphine.
Mr. Sae-ya was detained in custody pending a court hearing.
