A 49-year-old man has been arrested after he murdered another man following a dispute in Lampang last night, Jan. 29.
The murder took place in Baan Nong Yang, Moo 8 Chomphu, Mueang Lamphun at around 9 p.m.
The body of the victim, Mr. Sukham Suwannawong was found in his home with multiple knife wounds. Questioning of villagers led police to Mr. Supakrit Saen from Ban Nong Yang, Mueang Lampang.
Mr. Saen confessed to murdering Mr. Suwannawong saying that he was angry at him following a dispute. What the dispute was about was not entirely clear but some reports say the two men were involved a land dispute of some sort.
Saen was arrested on a charge of intentionally killing others and was detained in custody pending further investigation and a court hearing.
