A man has died after riding his motorcycle into an electricity pole at high speed in San Sai yesterday, May 29.
The accident occurred on the Middle Ring Road (3029) in Moo 2 San Phranet at around 7:30 p.m.
The deceased, Mr. Supachai Chaichan, 21 from Prachuap Khiri Khan Province is said to have been traveling at high speed on a “big bike” when he failed to navigate a bend in the road, riding into the electricity pole instead.
The electricity pole was unharmed.
The body was taken to Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital for an autopsy before being handed over to relatives for funeral rites.
