A man has drowned after driving his Toyota Hilux Vigo pickup truck into a pond on Lamphun yesterday, Nov. 13.
The accident occurred at a pond located in a longan grove in Nakhon Chedi, Pa Sang District with the vehicle spotted sinking by a passerby at around 3:45 p.m.
The victim, Mr. Sukrit Jik Yong, 42 from Bang Hong District was found drowned in the vehicle as it was pulled out of the pond.
The cause of the accident is not currently known with police said to be investigating.
