Man found shot dead in Tham Pha Thai National Park in Lampang

The body of a man was discovered shot dead within the grounds of the Tham Pha Thai National Park Saturday, May 2.

The body was found by locals in a remote district of the park in Moo 6 Pong Don, Chae Hom with emergency services workers and police attending the scene yesterday, May 3.

The body was identified as being Mr. Kamthorn Sanguan, 50 from Moo Pong Dom. The body was found with multiple injuries to the face and neck consistent with being shot with a shotgun.

It’s believed that the deceased man was hunting in the area May 1 and may have been incorrectly believed to be wild game by other hunters and shot in the process.

The case is being investigated by police.
