Man in serious condition after being stabbed in Chang Moi

A Myanmar national is in a serious condition after being stabbed following a dispute in Chang Moi early this morning, Dec. 24.

The incident occurred at the Phithak Printing Shop on Suriyawond Road at around 2 a.m.

The victim, Mr. Ni (no surname) 25, got into an argument with another employee at the printing shop with the fellow worker deciding to stab him multiple times in the neck and waist.

Mr. Ni was taken to Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital for what was described as “urgent” treatment.

Police are seeking the whereabouts of the assailant who had fled the scene before they arrived.
