Man murders neighbor who slept with his wife in Hang Dong

A man was arrested for murder in Hang Dong yesterday after he killed a neighbor who he alleged slept with his wife.

The murder took place Oct. 30 with the subsequent arrest taking place in Moo 14 Nong Tong yesterday, Oct. 31.

The accused, Mr. Natthon Singkaew, 26 is alleged to have killed his neighbor, Mr. Kajornsak Pintawana, 28 by hitting him on the head with a solid object. Strangely, after apparently attacking Mr. Pintawana, Singkaew also allegedly through bricks at the body.

Mr. Singkaew confessed to police that he had attacked the victim, however, he claimed that he did not know he had murdered him. According to the accused, Mr. Pintawana has been sleeping with his wife and had confessed to doing so when confronted earlier on the same day he was murdered.

The accused was taken to Nong Tong Police Station where he was charged and detained in custody pending a court hearing. This being Thailand, Mr. Singkaew was taken by police back to the scene of the murder for a recreation of the crime.
