Heavy rain as led to a mudslide that destroyed a house in Mae Hong Son late last night May 30.
The house was located in Huay Sua Thao, Moo 8 Pha Bong, Mueang Mae Hong Son.
Runoff from heavy rain at around 11 p.m. caused a hill bank to erode then slide into the house, completely destroying it. Two motorcycles were also damaged.
Some reports suggest that the water causing the mudslide was run off from the Mae Hong Son Stadium but that is not confirmed. Locals have been complaining for some weeks about runoff from the stadium that is currently under construction.
Fortunately no one was injured.
