Myanmar man dies after riding off road in Doi Saket

A Tai Yai man from Myanmar has died and two children were injured after the motorcycle they were on crashed in Doi Saket last night, Aug. 18.

The accident occurred in Moo 5 Samran Rat just after 11 p.m.

The deceased man, Saw Yeat, 27 was driving home from a party with two children, believed to be aged 9-10 when he crashed while attempting to overtake another vehicle. He wasn’t wearing a helmet and died on impact due to skull damage.

The two children were taken to Doi Saket District Hospital for treatment.

The body was taken to hospital for an autopsy. Although not specified, Thai language media implied that he may have been drunk at the time of the accident.
