One man has died and five million yaba tablets have been seized in the latest shoot out between drug mules and police in Chiang Rai early this morning, Feb. 21.
The shoot out occurred in Moo 4 Pa Sang, Mae Chan District at around 1:30 a.m.
In a plot that could have been cut and pasted from previous drug related shootings, a pickup truck was spotted by police who attempted to intercept it.
A person in the pickup truck has pulled out a gun and a shoot out has occurred, in this case, lasting around five minutes with a drug mule ending up dead.
The deceased drug mule was named as Mr. A-kon Sae, 29 from Mae Fah Luang District.
