One man has died after the motorcycle he was on was struck by a BMW is Chang Phueak early this morning, April 10.
The accident happened on Chiang Mai – Fang Road (Highway 107) near the Chiang Mai Government Center at 12:20 a.m.
A Bangkok-registered BMW driven by Mr. Somchai Sirichai, 29, the owner of the luggage business struck Mr. Itthipol Gunsamai, 49 from the rear at high speed.
Thai language media reports that Mr. Sirichai was returning home after “partying” but claimed to have only drunk a small amount of alcohol.
Police are said to be investigating.
