One person has died after the vehicle they were in slammed into a power pole in San Sai early this morning, Sept. 16.
The accident occurred on Chiang Mai – Phrao Road (Highway 1001) in Nong Han (Mae Jo) at around 3:48 a.m.
There’s not a lot of details about the crash other than the driver of the vehicle was male.
Pictures from the scene posted by Mae Jo Police (see below) show very little of the vehicle left, to the point where the only main part of the vehicle left was its trunk. Given the damage, it’s reasonable to guess that speed would have played a major factor in the accident.
