One man has died after the truck he was in transporting cornmeal crashed yesterday, April 5 in Mae Chaem.
The accident occurred on Mae Chaem – Hot Road (Highway 1088) at around 9 a.m.
Details are sketchy on how the accident occurred with the truck ending up on its side. The top of the truck’s cabin was crushed in the accident. It would appear from photos of the crash that the driver may have lost control of the truck on a bend in the road.
The body of the deceased driver was taken to Mae Chaem Hospital prior to being handed over to family members for funeral rites.
