One dead in Lamphun motorcycle/ truck crash

A man has died after seemingly hitting a truck at speed while on his motorcycle in Lamphun yesterday, July 24.

The accident happened on Lamphun – Li Road in Nakhon Chedi, Pa Sang at around 10 p.m.

The details of the accident are not entirely clear, however, pictures from the scene show that the motorcycle has hit the rear of the truck. Whether the truck was parked at he time of the accident or moving is unknown.

The deceased was not named but described as being between 20-25 years old. The local rescue ground said that the victim’s brain was “splashed out” at the scene indicating severe head trauma.

Police are said to be investigating.
