One person has died and another was seriously injured after a pickup truck rolled in Nan yesterday, Aug. 16.
The accident occurred on Ban Pha Tub – Ban Fai Kae Road in Baan Fai Kae, Moo 7 Thuem Tong, Mueang Nan at around 6 a.m.
According to reports, the pickup truck lost control on a curve in the road, clipping a light pole and various trees as it eventually came to a stop on its roof after rolling.
The deceased man was named as Mr. Suriya Tanawong, 23 from Thuem Tong will the other person in the pickup truck, Mr. Anuwat Chan Daeng, 31 from Wiang Sa District in Nan was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Police believe that Daeng, the driver, may have fallen asleep behind the wheel as he traveling home at the time after working a night shift until dawn.
