One person has died after a motorcyclist crashed into a parked pickup truck at high speed in San Kamphaeng last night, July 30.
The accident happened on Chiang Mai – Mae On Road in Moo 8 Ton Pao at around 10 p.m.
According to reports, the rider, Mr. Paisan Utreesorn, 27 from Phayao rode straight into a pickup truck parked at the side of the road during a period of heavy rain, the rain presumed to have caused him to have not seen the parked vehicle.
The body was taken to Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital for an autopsy prior to being handed over to relatives for funeral rites.
