Around 100 homes and other buildings were damaged by a summer storm that ripped through Den Chai District, Phrae yesterday, May 12.
The storm, which struck at around 8 p.m., brought down power lines and took roofs of homes in Moos 1, 2, 7, 9 and 12 in Tambon Sai Yoi.
In one case the roof came off a building belonging to a local emergency services group.
Power remains off in many areas as of this morning, May 13 with the Department of Disaster Management and Prevention along with the Provincial Electricity Authority deploying staff to assess and repair the damage.
While there was no reports of the Royal Thai Army being called, given the extent of the damage they probably will be called to the scene shortly.
