Police are being praised for helping to extinguish a fire in a car audio shop in Lamphun yesterday, June 6.
The fire broke out in the shop in Moo 2 Ton Thong, Mueang Lamphun at around 10:30 a.m.
Emergency services workers were quick to the scene but with only one fire truck and a limited number of fire fighters to assist, local police stepped up to the plate to help. Photos from the scene show police helping with the firefighting hoses as well as using fire extinguishers and throwing buckets of water on the fire.
The fire is believed to have caused around 50,000 baht in damage. The cause of the fire is currently unknown but a defective electrical device or short circuit is suspected.
