A body of a man was found with his throat slashed in a shop front in Chang Moi, Mueang Chiang Mai this morning.
The man, since identified as Mr. Franchanee Kaew, 56 from Tambon Muang Nam, Wiang Ha was found dead while another man, identified only as Mr. Lin Chong was found injured in a corner of the store.
Chang Phuak police said that neighbors had heard an argument in the vicinity at around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning but clearly thought nothing more of it until the discovery of the deceased’s body.
Potential witnesses are being sought with police saying once they had a better picture of what had occurred they would press charges.
