Public hearings have been held ahead of the construction on an underpass at the Samoeng Intersection in Hang Dong.
The intersection – where both Hang Dong Road (Highway 108) and the Outer Ring Road (Highway 121) cross is known to be highly congested, particularly during peak hours.
The project has a budget of 700 million baht with a construction time frame of 900 days. The project includes the construction of a dual carriageway underpass with support for a local irrigation canal, adequate drainage and supporting traffic lights for the off ramps.
It’s not clear from reports when the actual construction will begin.
