The body of a Tai Yai woman who was savagely raped and murdered has been found in Mae Rim this morning, Nov. 12.
The body of Mrs. Lingruang, 34 was discovered in an old vehicle at a Mae Raem Workers Shelter by fellow workers who had been looking for her. Mrs. Lingruang has last been seen 6 a.m. at breakfast before disappearing.
Mrs. Lingruang’s body had been violated with signs of a struggle and vaginal tearing along with ligature wounds to suggest that she was ultimately strangled.
Police are seeking Mr. Sai Ya, 46 a Tai Yai man with Myanmar nationality to assist in their inquiries. Mr, Sai Ya is said to have previously been a relationship with the deceased and after they had broken up around two months ago, he had set her motorcycle of fire, a fact that had be brought to the attention of police.
