Three injured as Chinese tour bus clips motorcycle in Mae Rim

Three people, including a small child, have been seriously injured after the motorcycle they were traveling on was clipped by a bus transporting Chinese tourists in Mae Rim.

The accident occurred on Chotana Road (Highway 107) yesterday, Oct. 8. with the driver of the bus claiming that the motorcycle hit its side as it was changing lanes.

Of those on board, the mother was reported to have severe head injuries, a one-year-old child is described as having upper-body injuries while the father was also reported to be in a serious condition.

Police are advising motorcyclists to keep clear of large vehicles.

The 20 Chinese tourists on board the bus were transferred to Rod Daengs to complete their travel.
