Three people, including a small child, have been seriously injured after their car slammed into a power pole in Nan last night, Nov. 19.
The vehicle, a Nissan Note, struck a electricity pole at 11:30 p.m. on Yantrakitkakosol Road, at Ban Khok Sub-district, Du Tai, Mueang Nan with Miss Sasiwim Saephong, 34, Miss Poripop Sae Fang, 7 months old Miss Somjit Sae-tee, 54 in the vehicle.
The driver, Miss Saephong, said that they had been driving home to their village after spending time in Chiang Mai when she lost control of the vehicle.
Police, however, suspect that she likely fell asleep behind the wheel causing the accident.
All there were taken to Nan District Hospital where they are reported to be in a stable condition.
