Two people have been arrested after they were spotted stealing from a donation box at a pagoda in Chiang Dao May 20.
The theft occurred at the King Naresuan The Great Pagoda in Mueang Ngai.
Police used CCTV footage from the pagoda to track down the two suspects to a home in Moo 5 Thung Khao Phuang yesterday May 22.
For unknown reasons the name of neither man was disclosed but, in fine Thai tradition, they were forced to recreate their crime complete with pointing.
The pair were detained in custody pending a court hearing.
