Two people have died after they rode their motorcycle into a fallen tree in Nan yesterday, March 19.
The accident occurred on Mae Charim – Ban Chomchan Road in Chomchan, Wiang Sa District at around 3:45 p.m.
The decreased – Mr. Supat Suwai, 72 and his wife Mrs. Srikum Suwai, 65 both from Nam Pai, Mae Charim were killed on impact.
There were no witnesses to the accident. It’s not known if the tree was already on the road and they didn’t see it or the tree feel in front of them as they were on their motorcycle, giving them no opportunity to avoid it. What was noted in local reports is that the tree was on the road due to a recent forest fire in the area.
